It is our recommendation that you register your domain names with GoDaddy. They have a beautiful set of tools to manage your domain and a wonderful search feature to help you find a domain that is not already in use. Here some tips when picking out a domain.

• Make sure it makes sense. If you are looking to start a blog about dogs, don't buy a domain that says fluffylove.com. Try to include the main topic of your site in the domain name.
• Don't be hooked on the extension ".com". While that is most popular, using others like .net, .me, .us etc... might work better for what you are building a site for. And Some URL extensions are actually cheaper.
• Domains are pretty cheep and you will have to pay to renew them periodically. If at all possible you should get you domain name for the longest periods you can.

Website host is a separate thing from domain registration and is a vital part of building your site. If you already have a host, please infor us of who you are using so we may asses if the hosting in compatible with the system we use.

If you do not have hosting yet, please take our recommendation for hosting and choose HostGator. Their servers work very well with our system and the price of their packages are very reasonable.

In many cases this can be fine and we should be able to work around this. However your current host must meet some requirements to run our CMS system.

You must ensure that you have the MySQL, XML, and Zlib functionality enabled within your PHP installation. If you are unsure of any of this, simply let us know the name of your host company or contact their support system. They should be more than happy to answer you questions.
